Motion Capture Video's MaMoCa Raises Seed
San Clemente, CA -based MaMoCa has raised around $750K in an angel round from the Tech Coast Angels, says socalTECH.
The startup has developed motion capture technology for the video game, TV, and movie animation. MaMoCa is developing a system that accurately captures movement without requiring the use of traditional "markers", used by animators to accurately capture human and other movements. It claims to capture 1000x the data of traditional motion capture systems.
