Video Search's Blinkx To IPO On AIM With Autonomy's Consumer Group

UK enterprise search company Autonomy has been on a roll. Its shares have increased 37% in value since the start of the year. Now it is spinning of its consumer group with Blinkx, a video search startup that launched with Autonomy assets.

Blinkx makes money from licensing its video search platform to other Web sites but the company has announced plans to also do video ad insertions. We don't yet know what are Blinkx revenues nor what the IPO might value the company at.
