Amazon Buys Digital Photography Review

dpreview.png
Amazon has bought London-based Digital Photography Review for an undisclosed price. This is an interesting deal as it seems Amazon is looking to acquire blog readers. Of course, Amazon already has its own reviews of digital cameras so it is really buying traffic. Dpreview.com claims 7M unique visitors (over 22M sessions) who read over 120M pages. The company was founded as a hobby in 1998 by Phil Askey.
