Are T-shirts The New Adsense?

tishirt.png
VC Ed Sim recently posted that "I am not sure about your own analysis but based on a number of portfolio companies, I can tell you that Google Adsense delivers the best results bar none in terms of generating revenue."

Evidently a number of astute Web operators have concluded that t-shirts bring in more revenue than Ad-sense. If you look at sites across the Gawker Media or Gothamist networks or most sites affiliated with Blogads, for example, you will see that they set aside their most valuable real estate for t-shirt promos. as one savvy Web operator told us, 'Ignore the t-shirt angle at your peril."
