Conde Rice Burns Rubber With a Tesla
Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice had her Australian counterpart for a visit in the Bay Area this week and took him down to Moffet Field for a test drive of a Tesla, which they both lauded after-ward. With its mix of sexy styling and green appeal, we expect Tesla to become a standard pitstop for any and all dignitaries and political aspirants, giving the company yet more exposure.
The Wall Street Journal ran a story yesterday about Silicon Valley (San Jose's) efforts to make itself the green capital of the world. The article mentions all sorts of solar panel developers, but its the sleek Tesla Roadster that will give Silicon Valley this reputation at least for now.
