Delivery Agent Does On-Screen Product Placement Sales On-line. Raises $18.5M

We watched the new Bond flick Casino Royale recently (pretty cool) and definitely noticed the in your face product placement. Sorry, but the real James Bond would not drive a Ford but apparently Detroit paid the price.

San Francisco-based Delivery Agent has pioneered the online conversion of on-screen product placement, ranging from TV shows, movies, sports, and publishing to music videos. today announced that it has raised an additional $18.5M of funding in a third round of financing for a total of $35M. The round was led by Bessemer Venture Partners with Cardinal Venture Capital and Worldview Technology Partners also participating.

Delivery Agent now has partnerships with 100 entertainment properties to allow consumers to purchase the items they see on screen. It also launched an aggregation site for all of the products at www.seenon.com.
