iTunes VP Launches Clever Padlock Startup WordLock

Wordlock, which was founded in 2002, has won patents on the use of letters rather than numbers in padlocks. The painfully simple idea is that words are easier to remember than number combinations.

Founder and CEO Todd Basche was GM Emerging Businesses at Macrovision and VP of Application Software at Apple Computer where he he was responsible for Itunes, the Music Store, iPhoto, iMovie and iDVD.
