Portable Fuel Cell Maker INI Raises $4M
Morrisville, NC-based INI Power Systems, which develops methanol-powered fuel cell systems, has raised $4M in Series B led by MHI Energy Partners. The company also says it has gained financial support from the US Army.
Founded in 2001, INI came out of thge University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Applications include military uses, consumer portables, and laptops.
