Reinvent: The Outed $100M Domain Name Business

We can't blame Business 2.0 for its headline hyperbole - The Man Who Owns the Internet - as the article is such a good read, packed with info from the dark crevices of the Internet domain economy.
Probably the most interesting bit that we learned was that the character at the center of the article, Kevin Hamm, did a deal with the prime minister of Cameroon so redirect any free .cm domains to a page owned by Kevin Hamm. Ham then spins Yahoo Publisher Network gold from those mis-typed URLs. Hamm hints that he is looking to do similar deals with other nations.

We also learn that Hamm is coming out of obscurity (he agreed to be interviewed after all) and is putting his domains under the brand Reinvent Technology. Among the sites that Reinvent owns are: Attorney.com, Cheap Travel.com, Laptop.com, Digital Camera.com, Hot Springs.com, HD TV.com, Cellular Phones.com, Religion.com, Beat.com, and Venture.com, as well as God.com and Satan.com (Hamm is a devout Christian and was studying for medical school when he found he domainer calling.
Hamm will not say how much he is making. Business 2.0 guesses $70M, but others say the number is much greater.
