Webcam Mail's EyeJot Closing Seed Round

Video email firm Eyejot has done a lot with a couple of staff on hand and a PR manager. EyeJot is now looking to expand thanks to a $750K convertible debt seed round that it is closing with plans for a Series A round by the end of the year. The company's product has been well received and we imagine is growing its user numbers like a weed, but its the kind of functionality that we can see others copying so EyeJot needs to get a move on. It faces competition from the older and larger SightSpeed, which also enjoys killer reviews.
The startup's muscle is brought by co-Founder and CTO Daryn Nakhuda who was CTO at Spam Arrest and CEO David Geller who is at the same time CEO at Whatcounts.
