Funcom Raises $30M Private Placement For MMOG Conan

Funcom has raised $30M in a private placement to help support the company's launch in October of The Age of Conan, which by most expectations is going to be a huge hit. The company trades on the Oslo stock exchange under the ticker symbol FUNCOM. It raised $26M when it went public in Norway.

Menlo Park's Moblyng (aka Fliptrack) has raised $5.7M in 1st-round funding from Mohr Davidow Ventures and Deep Fork Capital. Moblyng has emerged from closed beta. It tools allow users to move media out of Slide and RockYou slide shows, YouTube videos and MySpace videos with one click.
