NEA Invests $5M In India's FlightRaja

NEA-IndoUS Ventures has invested $5M in first round funding in Via, India's leading travel services firm which launched FlightRaja last year.

Via says it has a network of 3K travel agents in 290 cities in the subcontinent. Via says it is doing $493K turnover per day and is profitable online. It says it plans to extend the service offerings to the hospitality and tourism sectors, including holiday and health packages.
