Intacct Raises $14M And Other Fresh Deals

+ FAIRFIELD, NJ Archive Systems has completed a Series B round of funding led by The Carlyle Group (Document process automation solutions)

+ NEW YORK, NY ORIX Venture Finance has provided MX Logic with a $9M financing facility, providing working capital and a term loan. (Managed security services provider of email and Web security services)

+ SAN JOSE, CA Intacct has raised $14M (On-demand financial applications)

+ POWAY, CA Coradiant has raised $15M in Series E (Real-user monitoring equipment for data center applications)

+ HOUSTON, TX DataCert secured $10M in Series E (Corporate legal and IP spend and matter management solutions)

+ PALO ALTO, CA Neopolitan Networks has raised $3.17M in Series A (Ethernet network service provider)

Sugar Publishing, a San Francisco-based blog publisher, has raised an undisclosed amount of second-round funding, according to TechCrunch. NBC Universal led the deal, with return backer Sequoia Capital also participating. Sequoia invested an initial $5 million last fall. www.sugarpublishing.com

+ COLORADO SPRINGS, CO Photo Stencil,has been acquired in a leveraged buy-out by private equity firm Kachi Partners, Kachi reported Tuesday. Details of the transaction were not disclosed. (Manufacturer of printed circuit board assembly and inspection tools)

Menlo Park's Moblyng (aka Fliptrack) has raised $5.7M in 1st-round funding from Mohr Davidow Ventures and Deep Fork Capital. Moblyng has emerged from closed beta. It tools allow users to move media out of Slide and RockYou slide shows, YouTube videos and MySpace videos with one click.
