Social Media Analytics' Keibi Raises $6M

keibi.png

Last year Keibi Technologies' Paul Remer was General Counsel at photo social network Piczo. He says that while users generated content Piczo was fantastic, it was hard to process. So Remer launched a startup to help companies understand and manage their communities. San Francisco-based Keibi Technologies has raised around $6M in Series B from Catamount Ventures and Hunt Ventures.

Still building out its platform, Keibi says its web semantic and recognition engines will provide user generated content categorization that can be used for content discovery, community moderation, and brand protection.
