Summit Takes Minority Position In Email Outsourcing's LiveOffice

Summit Partners has acquired a minority stake in LiveOffice, a Torrance, CA–based vendor of managed messaging security, archiving, and compliance solutions. No financial terms were disclosed.

LiveOffice hosts email and IM archiving, anti-spam, antivirus, compliance, and eDiscovery solutions for businesses. LiveOffice also helps organizations comply with statutory, regulatory, legal and industry-specific mandates.

Founded in 1998, LiveOffice serves a premier roster of clients including Fortune 500 companies and processes and protects millions of messages each day. LiveOffice charges about $50 per seat per month.
