Choosing Which College To Apply To? Campus Explorer Has Search Answers

Los Angeles-based Campus Explorer has received venture capital backing without yet making an announcement on the deal, reports socalTECH.com. Funding comes from Santa Barbara-based ventures. Campus Explorer has launched a beta site that allows students to search for information on colleges and universities, by field, location, or other parameters. Its not terribly helpful at present but we can see them adding a lot of other data that will make it standout.

The company's CEO is Jerry Slavonia who was Director, Business Development at Rent.com, an eBay company.
