ePerks Launches Cash Back Site For Local Goods

ePerks founder Ben Behrouzi previously founded Reply.com. He has just launched a similar site at ePerks.com with backing from his own venture fund. ePerks offers cash-back incentives and other perks, categorized by ZIP code. Today the site features real estate agents, auto dealers and home contractors all competing to offer the best deals in a particular locale. The site will expand in about a month to include dry cleaners, movers, health clubs, medical professionals, retailers and others. To got a listing everyone has to offer some kind of discount or cash-back. This site is the first of three products planned by Behrouzi.

CEO Behrouzi is all of 26 and looks it.
ePerks has an aggressive pricing model. It will charge a fee for providers to be listed on ePerks.com so for example, a car dealership can get exclusivity within a 50-mile radius for $1K per month. In addition, ePerks will take a 19% referral fee on any real estate transactions and return to the buyer 80% of that fee.
ePerks plans to make these offers worth it by driving a lot of traffic to the site. It is launching a marketing campaign with nationwide radio ads, TV commercials and online ads throughout Q3 and early Q4 of 2007. Its radio ads have already begun playing nationwide starting July 30.
