Founder of India's Rediff Launching "Disruptive Media Technology Business"

Ajit Balakrishnan who founded Indian online portal Rediff.com (NASDAQ: REDF) has been in the news lately over speculation that Yahoo, Google and AOL are bidding to buy Rediff.

Today we learn from job postings that Balakrishnan is building a new un-named startup. "The model will attempt to create a disruption in the TV industry using contemporary internet technologies." The startup is based in Mumbai and has already hired 15 people with experience in digital video.
