Oracle Buys ID Theft Fighter Bharosa

With more than 25M users, Bharosa's real-time fraud detection and online authentication security business for the enterprise is being combined with Oracle's web single sign-on and web-based authorization system. This comes as a result of Oracle buying Bharosa.

Bharosa was founded in May 2003 and headquartered in Santa Clara. The company has not indicated how much Oracle paid. Bharosa's customers include the US Air Force, Wells Fargo & Co. and National City Corp.
