Pre-launch ScramblerMail Wins Angel Funding
The a:c is the first to report on the formation and angel funding for pre-launch ScramblerMail. The San Mateo-based startup was founded by a group of Stanford Engineering students and alums.
The company says in job posts that it has developed an easy-to-use, robust solution "which we believe will capture significant market share in the rapidly growing field of e-mail security. Our target markets are small businesses in healthcare, financial services and legal services."
Richard Fiedotin, MD, has founded ScramblerMail. He was a co-founder at ePocrates, a successful, VC backed medical PDA company.
