Rob Monster Funds/Leads ID/Privacy's Demoxi

Rob Monster is the name-sake behind Monster Venture Partners, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Seattle. Monster was the Founder of GMI (Global Market Insite), a very successful global market research firm. Today Monster announced that he has invested $1.5M into Demoxi. Monster is also Chairman and President.
The technology behind the ID management company comes from VoteHere.net, an online voting startup that raised more than $20M and developed a patent portfolio 50 strong.
Demoxi is developing a downloadable application that it plans to launch in September. It is designed to act as a central repository where Web site password information is stored on an user's hard drive, creating what he calls a "secure identity wallet." Its not clear yet if Demoxi will take advantage of the OpenID standard or use its own standard. Demoxi plans to earn revenue through advertising.
