Search Bigs Jostling For India's Rediff

We are seeing reports in Barrons and the Hindustan Times that publicly traded Indian media business Rediff is getting buyout bids from Google, Yahoo and AOL. We understand interest from the later two but don't see Rediff fitting in well with Google's search and apps focus. Rediff is a media business that would seem to be a better fit with AOL and Yahoo. Rediff's stock has risen on the rumor and the Hindustand Times speculates that it could get a $1B valuation.
