Wasserman Cuts Its 3rd Deal With A High School Sports Network

Going downstream from pro sports has proven to be lucrative for a number of startups most notably Scouts.com and Rivals.com. Now, Prep Sports Online, an online high-school sports network has received an undisclosed amount of strategic investment from Wasserman Media Group.

Wasserman Media Group had previously acquired a similar service called Sportnet and will integrate the two businesses. Wasserman has bought a third similar business called Takkle.
