Launched by a former manager at Microsoft Tv, Braincandy introduced in July 2005, its first "My 5 Senses" DVD, sold at $19.99 a pop. The company sold about 10K units. It got the attention of customers largely to good PR including from Creative Child Magazine and Dr. Toy. Braincandy uses puppets that represent the five senses.
