Sand Hill VC Firm Invests In Stealth Mode Travel Search Site Kango

kango.png
The a:c has been tipped of to another new stealthy funding. A stone's throw down the street from Rapouts (and Facebook and Edgeio) is a stealth mode travel search startup called Kango. This startup plans to help families to plan kid-friendly trips. When the launch in private beta, users will get data like the ratio of kids to care-givers. how many kids on average are in a group, activities, hours, etc.

If you have kids, you will get the value immediately. Sites like Expedia are not very helpful in guiding family friendly trips and if you have kids in toe, that's priority number one.

The company is backed by NG Venture's Elliot Ng. Kango appears to have raised a substantial amount of seed funding as its has 4+ people on the job and has 4-5 open jobs reqs.
