VC Kevin Chou Launching Social Networks CompanyLoop & Watercooler Inc.
![]()
Kevin Chou was a partner at Canaan Partners until December 2006 when he left to start a San Francisco social networking business. His company Worksona has been rebranded as Companyloop. Think of it as LinkedIn withing the company. CompanyLoop has raised an undisclosed amount of funding by Canaan Partners.

At the same time, Chou has launched a Facebook development company called Watercooler inc. Its first public work is an "I Love SouthPark "section that doesn't seem like much of a business. Watercooler has been launched out a number of Facebook applications for fans of various TV shows and movies. The application features pictures, news, links and quotes pertaining to popular consumer subjects like The Simpsons and Harry Potter. Chou says that Watercooler has raised funding but that may be part of the funding that went to Worksona.
