First Tracks Publishing A Print Mag Publisher Funded
It has been ages since we have seen an independent print magazine publisher get funding. Lake Tahoe based First Tracks Publishing publishes monthly magazines focused on mountain resorts in the west (places like Tahoe, Bozeman, and Big Sky). PE Hub repots that it has raised $450K in Series A-1 funding. with DCA Capital Partners as a shareholder.
Media that targets the affluent in their 2nd homes has been a trend as advertisers go nuts for this crowd.
