Get Your Snail Mail End-Around Woth Earth Class Mail

earth class mail.png
We were visiting some friends recently who were away from home for a couple of months. They got their postal mail from a house-sitter who Fedexed it to them weekly. Yes, we had profiled Earth Class Mail on the a:c, which sounds like a better solution, but we couldn't remember the name.

Good thing Earth Class Mail has just closed a new round of financing to refresh our memory. If, as our friends, were, you are away from home and want to get you postal mail without having to pay someone to batch it and Fedex to you, just pay World Class Mail to receive it, weed out junk mail, scan it and post it on their Website for you to view.

The Seattle-based virtual post office has secured $7.4M of a $19.69M Series A round led by Ignition Venture Partners, says PEhub. As we had reported, the company had raised $3.25M in seed funding from Alliance of Angels, Keiretsu Forum and other angels.

Prices range from $120 per year on up. The company is led by Rob Wiener who had founded SnapNames.com, an early domain namer and PrintBid.com, a b2B exchange for commercial printing that was sold to Kinko's/FedEx
