Jared Polis Launches Fuser

Boulder, Colorado's Jared Polis is of the mind that big time players make big time plays so he is apparently thinking big with the launch of both Fuser and is US Congressional candidacy. We have covered the founder of Blue Mountain Arts and Pro Flowers with his latest startup: Confluence Commons, now called Fuser. The site aggregates email accounts and social networking activity similar in fashion to Netvibes. Polis is also running for US Congress and runs a fine dining establishment in Boulder

Fuser is led by CEO Jeff Herman who was VP of operations at network security software provider Webroot, and prior to that he was with digital content provider NetLibrary. The company is not saying how much Polis has invested in the company but allows that it employs 19 people and plans to grow to about 25 by the end of the year. Also, no other investors are being considered.
