Nokia Buys Mobile Advertising's Enpocket

Boston-based mobile ad tech firm Enpocket has been acquired by Nokia for an undisclosed amount. Founded in 2001, Enpocket says it employs about 120 people globally. Enpocket began life more active in Europe and Asia before gaining lie in the US.

Investors in Enpocket include: BlueRun Ventures, GrandBanks Capital, Dolphin Equity Partners and BrĂș Venture Capital.

According to a just published report by The Kelsey Group, US mobile search advertising revenues will hit $1.4B in 2012 from just $33.2M this year, a 112% compound annual growth rate.
