Vegas' Deep Rock Drive To Launch Live Music SocNet

Pre-launch Las Vegas' startup Deep Rock Drive says it has raised funding for a social network focused on the live music world. It plans to launch its Drupal-based site in the next few weeks. Says the company: "Deep Rock Drive will give artists and fans new tools and a new community in which to interact together. It will all culminate with live, interactive performances that set a new bar for fan and artist interaction."

Deep Rock Drive houses its tech staff in Redmond, WA but it has built a production studios in Las Vegas where it has built multiple sound stages built for its featured artists.

So who is funding Deep Rock Drive and how much have they invested? We can't say. However, it may have funding from Microsoft. A couple of the leads in the company are ex-Microsoft bigs. Stay tuned for further information.
