1-800-905-GEEK Sells 30% For $4.5M

Telkonet (AMEX:TKO) has made a strategic investment in 1-800-905-GEEK. Telkonet acquired a 30% stake in 1-800-905-GEEK in a stock deal valued at approximately $4.5M. Founded in 1999, 1-800-905-GEEK is a competitor to BestBuy's geeks on call division.The firm says it has about 300 franchises nationwide.
1-800-905-GEEK is based in Norfolk, VA and make a living sending techs out to fix PCs and networks for consumers and small businesses. They got to know Telkonet in a partnership.
