Class Secretaries Take Note. LiveScribe Breathes Life Into Note Pads

We are piss poor note takers so LiveScribe doesn't float our boat, but we know plenty of people who live for note taking and expect that LiveScribe will be a hit with this class. It could even be one of the first real breakthroughs in input devices since the mouse.
By using their proprietary pen/recorder, you can link audio recording to the text you're writing. And it can later all be indexed on a PC, and played back on the computer. You'll get about 100 hrs of storage in your $200 LiveScribe pen.

PEhub reports that LiveScribe has just closed a $22M first round led by VantagePoint Venture Partners. The company gave its first public look at Demo in May and was a hit.
