Crisis System SendWordNow Gains More Funding

When the next big one hits, how do you inform you employees what's going on and what they should do. 9/11 had numerous strories of corporations in communications disarray with their staff. NYC-based SendWordNow has built a system for just such crisis situation whereby HR and facilities staff can communicate via email, web, telephone, whatever to employees. The company packages that include content-triggered alerts (such as traffic, weather, or mapping). SendWordNow just raised $8.5M in Series C.
