E Ink Finally Gaining Momentum

We seen a few killer products recently at random and are just now connecting the dots that the are based on tech from Cambridge, MA-based electronic paper display outfit E Ink. The MIT inspired startup has raised $16M in series B for a total of over $130M in total funding raised since 1997. That's a long time and a lot of money - a trial of tears we are certain - but it seems to finally be paying off with companies licensing the technology to manufacture desirable objects.

What is cool about E Ink for cell phones is that the keyboard be display different characters depending on how it is configured.
