Online Backup's eSureIt Raises $5M

esureit.png
There seems to be no end to the number of thriving online backup providers. For us, it's a bit hard to see the differences between them and we expect that they grow through word of mouth and customer service rather than through customers nailing which one is actually superior.

The maker of eSureIt, Intronis Technologies, out of Englewood Cliffs, NJ, has raised $5M from OpenView Venture Partners. Founded in 2003, this is the first round of financing for the company. It claims 5K customers at this point. It charges $10 p/mo for individuals and $25 p/mo for businesses.
