Video Analytics' TubeMogul Raises Seed

Berkeley, CA-based TubeMogul has raised seed funding from NetService Ventures Group. The startup sells online video analytics and distribution to both large and small publishers who need independent data analysis about video performance on the Internet as well as automated upload to the Web’s top video sharing sites.

TubeMogul’s analytic technology aggregates video-viewing data from multiple sources to give publishers an understanding of when, where and how often videos are watched as well as to track and compare what’s hot and what’s not, measure the impact of marketing campaigns, gather competitive intelligence, and share the data with colleagues or friends. We think of it as Google Analytics for the video set.

As a member of the founding team, I am responsible for customer development, customer acquisition, content distribution, and overall positioning of TubeMogul's products and services.

The startup was founded by a couple of blokes who met while studying business at in graduate school at UC Berkeley.
