Angels Back Upguppy's Rank It Site

upguppy.png
Upguppy reminds us of the John Cusack/Jack Black effort High Fidelity where the lead characters were frequently challenging each other with top ten music and desert island lists. The startup is led by wayward Yale Law School grad Ethan Fletcher who founded Upguppy with 4 buddies. They say they have raised an undisclosed amount of seed funding but we'll have to wait on the details.

The site has not yet launched but the concept is clear: "Everyone loves rankings (think U.S. News and World Report, David Letterman, VH1, ESPN…), but until now rankings were something we were told, not something we could participate in."
