In Tough Hiring Market, Jobvite Raises $7.2M

We keep hearing from people in the Bay Area how hard it is to hire people. They are using recruiters and spending a lot on job boards and get fairly random applications. So it makes sense that Jobvite is finding clients success. The startup says that it has closed $7.2M in a first round led by CMEA Ventures.

Jobvite is an on-demand platform for managing all of your job search inputs. It claims clients like TiVo, Infinera, SupportSoft, Mattson Technology and Tellme Networks.

Jobvite allows you to do everything from create a public career site that slots into your corporate site as well as an internal career site to encourage referrals. You can also upload and manage resumes. Additionally there is workflow that allows people who interview candidates to monitor and comment on candidates progress.
