+ Linden Labs' and Gawker Media's tops dogs seem to have made holiday resolutions that the want more face time with their product. Linden Labs' CEO Philip Rosedale has fired his long-time CTO Cory Ondrejka. Rosedale seems to be fed up with site crashes and a slow to arrive new UI. Meanwhile, Gawker Media head Nick Denton appears to have plans to serve as Managing Editor of the blog network's namesake site Gawker.com.

+ Recently funded Bill Me Later is displaying stunning growth during the holiday run-up.

+ Adware's Zango has cut a deal with Warner Bros. to distribute a Web series about online dating. The show may nor may not become popular but it helps beleagured Zango to get a name like Warner Bros. as a partner.

+ Viral Content/Ads. Office Depot has knocked it out of the park with its viral ads Elf Yourself.

+ Online furniture sales are on a tear. Who says only small box size eCommerce can work?

+ RSS reader Newsburst, which was bought by CNET, has gone black. This news came within days of news that rival Newsgator had raised a further $12M. The RSS reader market is a proven dog.

+ Online meeting organizer and Webex competitor Convoq/Zingdom is out of business having raised 3 rounds of capital and shuffled through 3 CEOs.

+ Facebook is suing Canadian online porn firm SlickCash for seeking to hack into Facebook user data.

+ Seattle's Blue Frog has laid-off about 55 of its staff and shut down its Mexican channel.
