+ Seattle Game Maker Wild Tangent has raised $20M in venture debt. Expect to see an IPO from them next year if market conditions are right.
+ A media darling for the past few months, Facebook was hit with brute media backlash after the launch of its beacon ad system which caught many by surprise with its privacy violations. The media storm doesn't seem to have done anything to hurt Facebook's popularity as its traffic grew over 20% in October.
+ Richter Scales has a big hit on its hands with this Web 2.0 bubble music video.
+ Snakebit move distribution platform MovieBeam shuts down for the 2nd time. It has raised over $50M. Hapless investors had bought MovieGallery for less than $10M earlier this year.
+ Michael Arrington co-founded classifieds' business Edgeio has shut down having raised $5M.
