Non-Profit Fund Raising's Zazengo Raises Angel Funding

zazengo.png
Toronto's Zazengo seems obtuse to our reading. "Zazengo empowers individuals, organizations, and media partners to work together to create and organize campaigns, activities and projects that transform awareness into action. The platform matches user interest, location, skills and experience to suggest new projects, and employs syndication widgets and social networking applications to embed 'awareness into action' wherever it needs to be."

OK, for the idiots in the back of the class this seems to mean that Zazengo helps do-gooders say so on their Facebook page and ask for your money.

Zazengo is advertising and sponsorship supported, and shares revenue back with the fund-raisers. Zazengo says it has raised angel funding, but there are no details on the who and the how much.

Zazengo is led by CEO and founder Vicki Saunders who previously founded another startup called Impactanation (yikes).
