Packsize - Where Cardboard Boxes Go Digital

right size logo.png

We once had a Summer job in a hell hole packaging huge file cabinets with corrugated paper. So it caught our eye to see that a company has been funded to bring the corrugated paper packaging industry into the digital era.

Venture capital firm Peterson Partners announced has invested $4.6M in Salt Lake City-based Packsize. The issue that they solve is that companies have to maintain huge inventories of boxes for every size unit they might need to wrap. Imagine a company like Amazon and how many size boxes that might be. God forbid they ever run out of a size. Packsize let you input the sizes you need and it will spit those out on the spot. Sure its a big machine but but for many companies it will save them from having to build or maintain a large facility just for storing boxes.
