Stylish Storage Firm Fabriq Strikes Again. Buys Apple Storage Firm G-Technology

gtech.png
Fabrik has bought Santa Monica-based G-Technology, which sells storage equipment for Apple computers. No financial terms were disclosed. Fabrik has raised around $50M in VC funding from 3i Group Intel Capital and others.

G-Technology equipment is primarily used by Apple power users, who often use Apple for its video strengths.

G-Technology is Fabrik’s third acquisition - it had bought Filmloop and SimpleTech. Fabriq seems to be drawn to stylish and hip consumer storage technology that was often launched by boutique startups (G-Technology for example was boot-strapped.)
