givezooks.png
We continue to be amazed at the amount of money that political candidates have raised online and we have to imagine that the folks who manage charities are paying attention. Santa Barbara-based Givezooks says it has raised angel funding for its online marketplace for charitable fundraising. The marketplace is pre-launch but it plans to connect charitable causes (nonprofits) with potential donors (corporations and individuals) in a community-based approach.

The startup was founded by Carol Schrader who was s VP of Marketing for Agile Software which held an IPO in August of 1999.
