Having Halted Osaka IPO, Chinese Virtual Word 9You Raises $100M In Private Equity

Last August, virtual world 9You canceled its IPO on the Osaka Stock Exchange as a result of a dispute with Yedang, which publishes the casual game 'Audition' - 9You’s top revenue generator. Today we learn that 9You has received $100M in equity investment from Temasek Holdings and others. 9You says it still plans to do an IPO .

With surging traffic mainly from Chinese drawn to a home-grown virtual world, 9You claims 1M peak concurrent users.
