Video Conferencing's Digital Union Raises $1.7M First Round

North Hollywood-based Digital Union says it has raised $1.7M from angels in its first round. Specifically the company cites that its backers are Midwestern business execs. The company is a bit odd, but maybe that's just because the web site is terrible.

Digital Union says it has created video collaboration software and its selling it into healthcare, entertainment and education. The firm is led by Paul Naday who was Senior Director of Business Development at Karl Storz Endoscopy-America.
