Web Sales Optimization's Amadesa Raises $5.4M

Amadesa Inc. has raised $5.4M in Series A from Carmel Ventures. Amadesa sells software that does behavioral targeting, product recommendations, shopping cart/billing form optimization, data collection optimization, and multivariate testing. Customers get a choice of higher end managed service or self-service options.
The Chicago-based company has David Efergan as its CEO - he was VP operations at Digital River.
There is a long list of competitors here: Offermatica (Now Test & Target), Google Website Optimizer, Maximine, Widemile, Vertster,
SiteSpect, Kefta, Memetrics, AdLucent, Split Analyzer and ATG Campaign Optimizer.
