Angels Back Music Network Mtraks With $550K
Music site MTraks very little traffic but nonetheless has closed $550K from angel investors. The independent music site offers tunes that can be bought a la carte through individual checkout, or via monthly subscription plans starting at $9.99 per month.
Sites like this remind us how tough it can be to rise to the top, how easy it can be to raise funding, and then what a stretch it is for them to provide a return on investment.
