Wireless Tracking Service Skydeck Raises $3M

skydeck.png
San Mateo's Skydeck has raised $3M in its first round from Saban Capital. It had raised $1M from angels. The company has a simple elevator pitch whereby users can track their cell-phone and landline calls similar to how they track their email.

Skydeck reminds users who they called you last week and who they need to call next. It looks like a nice service. We signed up and will add to this post once we have more to say.

CEO Jason Devitt was Entrepreneur-in-Residence at i-Hatch Ventures and before that CEO at Vindigo. He founded Vindigo in 1999 and grew the company from $0 to $12M in revenue in 2004, when he sold it to a Japanese company (now called Zingy).

We like Skydecks' feature where you can track cell phone reimbursements.
